Call for Participation: Live-Streamed Courses
Westminster International University in Tashkent in cooperation with the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education's Economics Institute (CERGE-EI) Foundation, invites all master level students, faculty members, applied researchers, and other interested individuals to participate in a live-streamed economics course starting in April 2021. Courses will be delivered online from CERGE-EI’s Digital Media Center in Prague, and coordinated by WIUT.

Costs and Tuition Fees: Courses are offered free of charge to course participants.

Course Schedule
In Spring 2021, courses will be offered on Education Economics, Experimental Economics, and Introduction to Data Science. All courses will be conducted Each week, there will be two 90-minute sessions (90 min and 45 min held by the main instructor, and 45 minutes held by the local instructor), which should add up to 20 contact hours per course. All participants who successfully pass the course will receive a certificate from the CERGE-EI.

Admission Requirements
The program is intensive and rigorous, all courses will be either advanced BA level courses or introductory MA level courses. Economics knowledge is required. Participants should expect to be challenged and should be able to demonstrate self-motivation. All courses will require the active participation of all students. Teachers will assist in engaging students, encouraging their active involvement in the course work and class discussions.
